As a graduate students, I know few about the business field. I really want to try my best to learn all, But there won't be any direct ways. I should learn from experience.

It is really different from what we learned from books. In school years, we learning and then examing. But it is not the same now, we examing while learning. I do not have any thing that can learned from books. I am afraid of mistakes that I felt hard to handle all the news things.

I was eager to ask questions, but  none can tell me the exact answer as it is really hard to answer. I want to know everything about import and export, But it is really hard to learn so soon. But I really want to get good advices of how to do foreign trade. As our company is new established,  all our colleagues are new to this field. I can read and write English,but none of trading.

I am not confident about everything new, afraid of making mistakes, And afraid of stepping to a wrong direction.

Hoping who are experience can advice me some basics of import and export.

You just said that learning is by experience so there should be mistakes that will motivate you to better results later.dont start dealing in high value goods or expensive items.

I was in same situation 2 years back in case of Export market.

What I did was to dig in as much as marketing details from as many sources as possible. I talked to buyers, suppliers, intermidiaters etc.

Slowly I am still gaining knoledge of products and market.

THis is a never ending process. The key is to never get satisfied with the info you have. Also it is better to formulate a set of rules for market and challenge them with evey new informaiton you get.

Also try to approach customer with multiple approach. Remember there is no fixed formula for it you have to make your own.

This way you keeps on learning and improving your approach.
