Hello,

What kind of expertise and time lines are we talking about here? Am a graduate engineer with 23 years industry experience in diverse domains. If this qualifies me, then there remains the question of time to spare for moderation. This is perhaps the Million Dollar question.

I guess I can spend about half an hour or so daily (at the moment this is just a guesstimate). However, moderation, if it means what I think it does, will most certainly require the candidate to spend much more time. I leave it to you to decide.

I am importer of sales promotional and gift items to supply cosmetics companies in Japan. the most of products are mainly produced in China as bags,small pouches,wallets,purse and beaty care items. I have experience in this field around over 28years and 99% are import products.

Of all the major markets Japan is by all aspects the least prepared and open for two way trade. Very few functioning guides, aids etc exist to help either the "INTO JAPAN" or "OUT OF JAPAN" business prospect make connections. The prominent business support bodies such as JETRO, chambers of commerce, regional trade promotion councils, lobby groups etc. play no role in direct assistance to prospective traders. 

For 15 yrs I've assisted Japanese companies find partners in the international market . Most striking in my work - match making, researching, product repositioning, and business coaching in Japan is seeing the lack of information and knowledge about the international market. The same applies to outsiders looking into Japan. Japan to the outside market could be Mars. Everybody knows it is out there somewhere and that is about it.
