THE REASON IS I WANT OTHER PEOPLE TO KNOW THESE THIEVES SO THEY WOULD NOT GET CHEATED.

This isn't suprising in the least.  there are hundreds of posts on the internet about the less than honest trading done by this company.  They were even reported to http://www.sccietac.org otherwise known as CIETAC.  Apparently you did not do any verification of this so called supplier.  If you had you would have found countless posts about them.

So then you have a valuable lesson learned and it is time that you move forward with your business.

Thanks for the reply. I have already moved on as I did get a product which I could sell BUT why are they still allowed to trade as GOLD MEMBERS. AND WHY ISNT ALIBABA doing anything about it since as you put it, everyone knows that they are scammers? You mean we are just going to let them keep trading? That is absurd.

Fair enough. Ali Baba or its directors are not liable for Theives like Yihui. HOWEVER in order to improve this site, wouldn't they want to get rid of companies who scam honest businessman? A simple process where if they get 10 complaints from buyers (which I think is too many), they have the right to terminate that status as Gold Members. If they do not have enough employees to check on them, I WILL BE WILLING TO WORK FOR A SMALL FEE. I would gladly blacklist and monitor these scammers.

I agree that there is a value to alibaba taking the issue of scammes seriously a putting a stop to them.

But there is also a value in taking gold membership fee from them and allowing them to remain.

The former is a longer term benefit the latter a short term one. At this point in time it seems that alibaba prefers the latter.

Realistically you and I don't really care whether alibaba does something or not as at the end of the day it only affects us if we get ripped off by these scammers. So protect yourself and do your due dilligence and then hopefully you will not have to blame the website on which you found the informaton.

Realistically, I do care not only about myself BUT other people who might get ripped off too. For me it was just a small sum which is nothing as this is just a hobby BUT for others, it may be their last dollar or have kids or whatever. They do not deserve to get ripped off by the same company. Due diligence is one thing, but not doing anything about a company who as pointed out , already a scammer, is another.


There are several other sites like that, BUT this site is no better than made in china.com or any others that do not monitor their sites.


Their (Alibaba's) lost I would say. Such a great business model BUT its downfall will be their lack of monitoring of such scammers.

CIETAC is not the right organization who is repsonsible for such dispute or catching the thieves. They are abitrators, it means they only arbitrate while both parties of disputes deliver the dispute to them.

So I wonder why you will say EVEN. The right authority is China Police (municipal Public Security Bueau).

I have same points to  yours, the problem is what we can do is little, except expressing our angers here. Some scammers in that city had been catched by local police and thrown into Jail, but more crazy guys are still there, and is busy counting the dirty cash in theirs hands happily and with a sinister smile on their ugly face, and after that, throw some bones to this B2B website.

This is a big problem in nowadays China, most merchants I mean these with big business do not have the consciousness of their SOCIAL DUTIES, what they really care is their own business and profit. Some of them or this nation will pay a cost for it, sooner or later.

I am thinking some public medias may be able to do something over this.

Indeed,that is an unfavorable thing. As a manufacture,i also hope others take the prestige and i can trust them, also if everyone can apply to the regulation of  credit,there will be no crime and annoy things happened around all days,and we can umbrace a paradise of doing business with foreign coutries without worry anything.

But it seem as if it's a illusion,because there are so many scammers behinds us who wearing a credit mask on their face and we can't point them out after we cheated by them,so what we can do now is just pay more  and more attention,also hope alibaba to create a more strict rules when a company want been verified as a trustpass or a goldmember.
