Kangaroo Tail Soup
Post 1 of 3
I gave this recipe to TwoRiversTradingCo some time ago, and she lost it! [em8]
So I have to post it here again especially for her.

KANGAROO TAIL SOUP!
1. Catch a Kangaroo. Size doesn't matter.
2. Chop off the tail. Don't worry, they will re-grow
3. Skin it, as otherwise the soup will taste furry.
4. Put a big saucepan over the fire.
5. Add Water from the nearest Billabong (watering hole)
6. Add Onions, Potatoes, Roo tail, Turnips, Suedes, Carrots, Celery, salt and Pepper.
7. Bring to boil
8. Simmer for about 1 hour till tail is tender
9. Add chopped chillies if you like it "Hot"
10. Enjoy with fresh damper.

(See separate recipe from Foow for damper)

That Kangaroo will be hopping mad.  I think I will pass on this uncivilized fare. Is it from a bush ranger cookbook?
