Where to stay while doing business in New Delhi

If your planning a business trip here I'd recommend the Taj Ambassador or the Hyatt Regency Delhi. Depending on your business budget, rooms at the Taj are great and they have a great staff. If your looking for a bit more without going way out on your budget I'd recommend the Hyatt Regency Delhi Club King Room as it affords you great ammenities and space to hold a catered small meeting. During my many visits here these are my top two picks for business men in New Delhi.

Apart from the above there are very economical hotels suits to the budget.For tourists there is "Ashok Yatria nivas".This is very economical and you can book in advance: This is mainly for tourists and maximum days allowed to stay is three.

Delhi is a big city..Hotels/Accommodations for all budgets are available all over the city....It might take 30/40 visits for a regular traveler to discover Delhi/Hotels and also its (lost culture) which is very ancient...New Delhi...also happens to be the seat of power
Points to ponder for a frequent traveler to New Delhi or (as a matter of fact to any other destination in the world )..the capital of India and the seat of power is...
1. Consider proximity to the places of business interest (lest he/she does not get delayed for appointments in traffic snarls and the chaotic traffic sense that prevails here.
2. Regular visitors to a Hotel/City are recognized and are taken care of specially.
3. We all like to see similar faces around us..so if we check into the same hotel again and again ..we are recognized..this gives an edge over the others guests..so we appreciate or discard.
There is much more to this...
