First, there will always be some bank charges that must be paid. Either the receiver (beneficiary) pays, or the sender (remitter) does. The bank will collect its pound of flesh. There ain't no such thing as a free lunch!

Second, if the final beneficiary (the one who ultimately receives the money you send) informs you about his account details (viz., the names of the bank and the branch where the party maintains his account, account number, routing code etc.), you can send the money direct from your bank in Belgium to the seller's account in China. You need not open any local account for that purpose.

In fact, you can send funds to any bank account (almost) anywhere in the world. Any good international bank would do that. Your bank should be able to advise you properly on this.

Hello,

You can ask your bank and mention the funds you would like to remit. Next ask them to tell you final banking charges from your local branch to Chinese one. Then compare it with banking charges for other banks in and select the best way.

If you mention ID details of your partner and transfer the sum according to this method, your addressee might receive the payment conveniently and there is no need to open a new account in Chinese branch of your bank.

Hope it is helpful

Good luck [em19]

]Reply to  [emir-lila com]: Hi you have mentioned that your bank have branch in China, but that is no use for you. If you have accounts here in China branch and need to send the money in same district  then no need to pay bank charge. Other wise in all the cases you have to pay the bank charges.

Further, you can open an accounts in China in any bank, that should be  personal for this you must be in China once for opening this.

As I know, you must pay some bank charges if you transfer from belgium to china.

If you don't want to pay you must tell to your bank that beneficiary bears any charge

The easy way to transfer money from any International Bank to another is SWIFT: You get teh SWIFT code, and otehr details of the benificairy ( your customer) and give the instruction to your Bankers, they will do it : If the currency code, country, etc are different there will be nominal tranfer charges , if differ from Bank to bank & country to country:

I am from Kolkata(Calcutta), city of Mother Terresa in India. I have one small export company which is owned by my wife. she is associated with carfters of weaker section of the society since her college days who are traditional master crafters of unique, unusual, innovative master crafts of gifts, fashion jewellery, home decor items that all are made from natural materials like jute, bamboo, cane, wood, straw, sea shell, terracotta, bamboo, wood so on as per her innovtive designs and ideas for which all those unique crafts have become so much appreciated by the  buyers all over the globe since 1996. me basically a finance executive in a calcutta based corpoarte house after my bank jobs for the last 34 years -  look after her business promotion and paymentside so i can assit u in ur present querry as till date we have been doing biz/selling to buyers against TT ( wire transfer) and have no such poblems till date with buyers and all they have beome good freinds for all these years although we haven't seen each other till date.

For ur present problem you can send TT ( wire transfer ) to  ur seller in any part of the world  thru u bank for which u need a proforma invoice from ur buyer and deposit the same to your banker to send the cost of goods and freight cost by wire transfer to sellers bank a/c to his/her bank's swift address with instruction therein how the payment will be made i.e on receipt of goods payemt will be disbursed or after similar payments to same buyers for 2nd time at sight etc.

its safe as its from bank to bank but sellers bank must be a prime bank it wd be better if the seller bank is a nationalised bank, in china or in India, nationalised bank is safe as buyer's money  remain safe as seller has to comply with the export procedures once they receive money thru bank. u may send the same to western union too but payment by TT is safe for samll quntity upto usd 2000.

hope these clarify everything for more pls feel fre to contact me at akbanerjee47@yahoo.com
