Yahoo Inc, which was widely believed to be running out of alternatives to accepting Microsoft Corp's takeover offer, has become a target of two warring camps of technology giants and their media allies, sources said on Wednesday.

News Corp is considering joining Microsoft in a bid for Yahoo which would bring in News Corp's MySpace online social hangout and create a more formidable rival to Internet juggernaut Google Inc, newspaper reports said.

I lost a few hundred dollars off on Yahoo share. Yahoo is making a very big mistake for doing what they are doing right now. Just seal the deal with Microsoft and recharge Yahoo already. I used Yahoo all the time, and I like it for the many internet service it provides. Like Yahoo! Finance, Yahoo! Sport, these are pretty good. My internet first page is always my Yahoo! and I can read thru the financial and world news headlines in one page. How convenient! Google is good for "search", but Yahoo can be so much more too if they have a better team. Too bad! But I will still keep an eye open on this deal.....

Yahoo already seemed to loose the battle to rival Google. Their CPC Ad program is still under beta, Google Adsense has the full control of the market... i rarely use Yahoo for searching sites... Google is always my first choice for various reasons... I think Yahoo will have to make a deal with Microsoft to survive in this competitive market ....
