By posting this does Alibaba VERIFY that all the suppliers are accredited and safe to deal with?

The new superdeals promotion on the site ,appears at first glance to be a reasonable way to enter in to small scale purchasing..By virtue of the fact that , generally, suppliers are showing MOQs at fairly low levels Suitable for new start up buyers etc .

The criterion for suppliers to make use of super deals includes the following clearly stated requirements .

Write a Brief Description, and include:
  • Payment Terms
  • Minimum Order Quantity
  • Stock Quantity (if no stock, enter N/A)
  • FOB Price & Location (Price should be valid until May 15)

Why then are Alibaba allowing a very significant proportion of the suppliers to omit some parts of the requirements from their product listings ? Mainly ,the price of the product. For new to the game buyers ,this showing prices can be critical to know .As a quick glance at the price ,gives at least a hint of the start off negotiation point etc . Far too high ,then move on type thing . Before I get jumped on ,yes ,I know buyers should know their product  costs etc .

Also , some suppliers who do show prices are getting around holding the cost until the cut off date of say May 15 .By blatantly stating (when contacted ) that they are changing the cost of the product advertised. (price up of course ) And they are not prepared to sell at their advertised cost and stated MOQ. .

Every seller has a perfect right to change their costs ,but surely not if they enter in to an agreed requirement ,as per superdeals ?

I also ask the same as the previous poster , are Alibaba verifying that the suppliers are accredited and safe to deal with ?
