April proves to be a truly exciting month as many buyers and visitors find themselves drawn to the smiling faces of Alibaba.com members around the city of Hong Kong. These members stand testament to how Alibaba.com has helped them find new products, expanded their business overseas and made more revenue.
A totally new ad concept, aimed to bring greater awareness about what Alibaba.com is has been launched. Our tagline “Where smart buyers find suppliers online” clearly differentiates Alibaba.com as the smart choice when it comes to sourcing. These Alibaba.com members can be seen all over Hong Kong from the airport, taxis, Airport Express trains and Wan Chai MTR station. With a truly unique design and fresh new concept, Alibaba.com stands out amongst all the competition during this busy trade show season!
1. Hong Kong International Airport
Visitors who touch down at the Hong Kong International Airport and going through the arrival central concourse can see 2 rows of Alibaba ads greeting them. The ads can further be seen on the lightboxes and trolleys at the baggage reclaim area and arrival greeting hall with 16 hanging banners lined up overhead.

1. Airport Express Trains
Most visitors choose to use the Airport Express trains when leaving the airport to get to the city. (And a majority of the thousands of attendees going to the China Sourcing Fairs also take the Airport Express.) We have extended our ads to the trains to cover the window, seatback and ceiling with stickers. A 70 seconds video is played during the commute from Airport to Central station, allowing commuters to have the full Alibaba experience in the 28 minute ride.

3. MTR Wan Chai Station
A big proportion of trade show visitors take the MTR to get to the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center (HKCEC) at Wan Chai where major trade shows are held in the month of April. As such, Wan Chai MTR station is the definite stop for show visitors. Alibaba ads dominated the pillars of the station concourse to capture the attention of show visitors.
4.Taxi
Alibaba branded taxis can be seen on the roads of Hong Kong. Special arrangement has been made for the taxis to line up at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center during trade show days to increase our brand exposure. Visitors can be sure to catch our ads as they leave the exhibition venue.
