I knew it was too good to be true. Check my earlier post for my apprehension. After spending a couple of days emailing "Dean Smith" and requesting the list he had the following to say:

Are you looking for name brand phones ?
We are located in Nixa, Missouri USA and are interested in new mobile phones.This was never the original intention of the post and I hope you understand this please read below
You cannot buy new name brand phones in China, they are mostly copies or sometimes refurbs
I can give you 2 or 3 companies that make decent quality phones under there own name but the choice for North America is limited because of the frequency.
A list has come into my hands in the last week or so that gives me access to suppliers worldwide for all kinds of name brand items.
The list cost me $5000 it has suppliers for AppleNokia, Gaming Systems, Samsung etc. These suppliers are all verified and accept Escrow or Paypal etc
If you want name brand product then I can either supply you the goods through myself or I can sell you the list. If you want some reliable Chinese manufacturers then i would be happy to give them to you free of charge

Either he is a liar for saying he bought a list, or not very bright for buying a list. My guess is he bought a list for some amount and felt he was taken. Instead of cutting his losses he has decided to resell the list and recoup some losses. If he bought it on an auction service he probably does not want to ruin his "score" so he feels this is a better place.
We found all our sources from 1) having been in the business 2) savvy research 3) reading about the stories of others.
My opinion is never purchase a list of suppliers, wait a second, yes, yes do purchase a list and it just so happens I have over a dozen suppliers.....yada yada yada.

Believe me I did I have been looking for this list for about 6 months It cost me $5000 On Thursday I sold 4000 GPS units and made $24000 just with a couple of phone calls Yesterday I made $80000 on 5000pcs of Nokia N95 8gb At the moment I have a request for 2000pcs of Nokias and 50pcs of PS3 80GB I would say it was money well spent If you dont believe that is fine, I can offer you this however If you want to bring me customers we can work out a commission, if you want to buy the list its $5000 but if you are skeptical we can do a few deals and you will see I have the suppliers but the price of the list will go up and any customers you bring to me I will keep.
Or I can just sell you the product but to get the price you need to make a good profit you need to buy in quantity. For instance a 1000 8gb iPhones I would sell to you around $465 or $470. One 8gb iPhone would be $515 Obviously if you bought the 1000pcs yourself you would save a few more dollars One more thing, obviously I cant show you the list before you pay but I am not into ripping people off. What does it have to do with you how much I get for a GPS unit ?
What would you have done, gouged them for every cent you could get ?
You know the original intent of this post was to try and help people, to try and prevent people getting scammed. There is a certain irony in that I havent ended up giving one person a list of Chinese suppliers because mostly as soon as they learn they cant buy name brand items they seem to lose interest.
Dont get me wrong though I have met and made a couple of good friends and have made some very good contacts and for that I say thankyou.
And to Glenn
I dont understand what it is you say I am lying about ? I do have a list of suppliers both Chinese and the other list we talked about. I did in fact pay for this list as is my choice.
I am not complaining about getting scammed, it is not a list I purchased from a website or Ebay or the like. I am perfectly happy to have purchased this list as I feel it as well worth the money.
But regardless of all of that I would like to ask how the * you feel you have the right to call me a liar in a public forum or to question my mental abilities.

After contact you switched to the list that was for sale, which I believe to be unfair to members of this site. They can read and now make up their own minds as I am also tired of the many illegitimate items on this site. Best of luck to your business.

Once and for all I do have a list of suppliers from China and elsewhere that I will glady give to anyone who wants it. But if they expect to get name brand suppliers from this list then they will be disappointed. Something I suspect is the real reason why you emailed me in the first place then started this attack on me when it didnt go your way.
Lets clarify further, I do have a list of suppliers that can supply name brand goods, iphones, Wii, PS3 etc. and I will let people have this list or they can purchase goods through me. However if they want the list they will have to pay for it.

I guess never, I guess its just too easy to slander someone for no good reason. Seems to me by the number of posts you have on these forums thats what you spend your life doing. This should be enough to get anyone started in trading quality items. You will need a business license and sometimes a FEIN to purchase from these companies. If you request credit some will ask for business financial statements. The bottom line is if you are a real business then you can easily get your foot in the door. Also use the forums on this site as two of the above sources have been mentioned again and again. DataTech is my gift as every few days someone requests sources of laptops, apple, yada yada. I will post more when I get around to it.
