How to Verify a Hong Kong company

Below is a couple of things you can do to check the existence of a hongkong company,
http://www.icris.cr.gov.hk
This is a link to a hongkong govt business registry. If the companies is registered as a business organization with the hk govt, the name of the company will be in the database. The information you can see for free is quite limited, you may need to pay to find out more info.
www.tdctrade.com
This is a business organization where many (but not all) hong kong based companies choose to register their company information. Check under "sourcing" and you can find a list of companies there. One would think that alibaba is where most hongkong based companies choose to have their profile listed but that isn't the case. tdctrade has been around for a lot longer, at least in hongkong.
I am sure there are many other ways you can check but these are the ones i can think of at the moment.
