I had ordered some beads from a company called Beadman Inc.-over $1,000 worth. The beads were supposed to be sterling silver. Some were, but most weren't. And the non-metal beads were just horrible!! Had seam lines on them and everything. The man Mangal said he'd give me a full refund if I returned them, so I paid an additional $200 to send it back. I sent it back last October. He keep saying he never recieved it yet. My credit card will not help me with this,nor will Western Union. Please help!! What do I do???I just want my money back.

I too ordered from this company, the order can very late and after emailing constantly to find out where the order is and actually ringing India, from australia. When it finally arrived 12 days late. it was dismal, all the beads are falling apart, 28 of the designs are missing and replaced by 30 designs not even in the catalogue. the chains would not clasp, they had the wrong clasps on them, i was shown photos to order from from other suppliers wiht the right goods.
the beads were short, photographic evidence back and forth from Mangal who states that I'm the crook here wanting my money back because I want to keep the goods, the beads and chains are only fit for the trash. key chains send had no stoppers on them so the beads fall off, the beads even of the same design are all different, nothing like catalogue.
Mangal from Beadman Inc INdia also wants me to mail back the order and he will refund, but I smell a rat so am standing firm.
he is threatening me, claiming he will report me (the victim) to bead society and chamber of commerce here, too late, I've already reported him and am liasing with the Indian Embassy here and the trade dept here and in india. This man and this company is totally fraudulent. He has used photos on his site of a famous bead manufacturer, i have copied the site and informed them of his breach of copyright and funnily enough the site today does not have these beads on it. Too Late she cried, the copy is already in the hands of the legitimate company and they will be taking this further too
Karma is a wonderful thing, he will get his own back. in the mean time I am happy to warn everyone keep away from BEADMAN INC, if you want to throw your money away donate it to a charity don't give it to this man.

Leah - contact your local trade dept and the Indian Embassy in your country tell them you are not the only one Mangal and Beadman have fraudulently treated. I am happy to back you up.
Now a days this is very easy to write negative against any reputed company by the people, who are never importer nor they know the rules for being an importer, and few online forums help these people to stain the name of reputed firms who have very big name in International markets, as these people are nothing but COMMERCIAL BLACKMAILER. I wonder, how this forum of Alibaba is used by the Commercial Blackmailers ? I am going to contact the moderators of Alibaba. I was told that some online blackmailing people are active with their racket, who come forward, saying themselves as a very big wholesaler having many stores in their countries, and ask for samples worth US$ 300/- and after getting samples, they will pretty huge orders.When samples are sent, their acts of blackmailing starts with threatening emails that shipment is wrong, (for us this is sample and for them this is bulk shipment), and we are threatened to pay the amount (which is almost 10 times more than they paid sent to us) otherwise they will go to the forums and elsewhere etc.etc.When we ask them to refund their money provided they send back the shipment to us, they came to their reality.My simple question are from both of good ladies ~1.- If Beadman is dishonest company, why did we send them samples ? we should have swallowed their money which they have sent to us (about US$ 300.00) why should we accept so much trouble for making shipment, customer clearances, paying courier freight etc.etc. ????? dishonest people always take money and run away and never turn up even if you keep email bombing to them.2.- You must know that Beadman is in this business since last 25 years and its main line of business is with 9 huge garment factories in Hong Kong, USA, Spain, Mexico and Peru (we have written agreement/contract with these factories, who use our buttons/beads and other accessories used in their garments) whose turnover is billion dollar per month and our minimum billing to these garment factories are over US$ 25,000/- per month, so they should also give their amounts to Charity instead of buying from us ?We have not made any building with your US$ 300.00 , or purchased any land with your amount, nor we went to holiday abroad with your such a huge amount of dollar three hundred.3.- Businessman never use threatening emails, only blackmailers use this languages, I can also got your post replied with many of our overseas buyer friend that BEADMAN is the best, then will it be decided who is right and who is wrong.Stop doing this mischief and fraudulent activities, send our goods back to us and get the full refund from us.You may continue writing on this forum, which will result nothing but prove you a commercial blackmailer, so better to send our goods back and get your money from us.

So sad that you had to go through this! So stupid of me not to have checked alibaba before placing my own order with BEADMAN!! How did it all turn out... did you receive replacement or refund? anything?

I have been attempting to contact these 2 men for 2 months now, concerning problems with my last order. Almost half of the order was defective OR NOT EVEN SHIPPED TO ME!! And no, none of the packing boxes had been opened and re-sealed... items were bagged and boxed perfectly in beadman logo boxes. Most everything I bought was by kilogram, so by weighing, I easily could ascertain that if a style was received, it was all there, to the gram! But so many items were left out of the order, including 925 silver items more pricey than typical glass beads.
It is true that SOME of the merchandise sent to me is BEAUTIFUL - PERFECT - without a doubt! But the problems with the other half of the order offset that, to the extent that I cannot with good conscience recommend them any longer to other customers... and I have sent many people from US, UK, Australia and New Zealand to their website.
Owner Mr Mangal Dass personally dealt with my order. He told me samples of other beads would be included in shipment - they were not. He promised that replacements would be made and sent to me of all the problems in that order - nothing has arrived. He suggested that partial reimbursement would take place, I provided my bank information again - nothing.
Manager Mr Amar Pandey is a bit more worrisome - here on alibaba, refuses to reply to my messages. No emails I have sent have been received. When I have called by telephone - Mr Mangal is conveniently not in, or out of the country, or ill - this of course, is after I give my name and order information.
Please do take care, when considering using this company... I sincerely hope that the situation at BEADMAN improves -- I truly do like Mangal (owner). At this point, my bank has suggested an attorney in the city BEADMAN is based. Any suggestions?
