If you secure a trade partner from within the Alibaba portal the payment method comes out of the negotiation between you and your supplier, or buyer. Alibaba is not involved in the deals or negotiations for goods and services.

How is Alipay available to members of Alibaba International? My understanding is that AliPay is similar in nature to PayPal as it is a payment form for e-commerce within China only! Its available on (www.taobao.com) and may be available on (www.china.alibaba.com) as it is supported by the four banks of China for transactions between Chinese consumers and business. If you have this information please direct us all to site where AliPay can be set up by International Companies. I have not as yet seen it advertised internationally nor seen it mentioned as a payment vehicle in any international banking, trade or investment magazine relative to international trade.
