Hi,

I've been thinking about starting a clothing brand in Denmark. I have a good, strong sense when coming to the latest fashion as I love to follow up by looking through magazines and buying clothes and shoes for myself.

However, I need advise and suggestions on how to make it work. Should I contact the manufacturers myself or should I hire a trading company to do the sourcing and factory-visiting for me?

Which cities in China are known for producing shirts, sneakers, leather dress shoes and jeans?

Any guidelines or hints from your earlier experience will be highly appreciated!

Hi

I hope you don't think that starting a clothing brand will be easy.We have many years experience in manufacturing and sourcing form China and other countries for fashion brands. We have people on the ground and inspectors to checkk all orders, When you do not speak the language you are starting off at a considerable disadvantage and you could also loose the shirt off your back if you are not careful.

Sourcing the right product and getting it produced is only the start, you need to consider how to get your product to market, buyers are seeing many new brands everymonth and its a jungle out there.I am not rying to put you off but fashion is difficult, however if you would like us to help you in your quest then email me

Regards

Hello,

Where are you now? In China or Europe? Why in Denmark? You have clients there?

What kind of "selling channel" you want to use? Retails shops in Europe, big warehouse?

In my opinion to develop own brand is a very good idea, as you know the BRANDED things can reach higher prices, but it need a lot of job in marketing and you should have a good idea...

I try to do that, starting with jewellery, accessory, good quality clothing, also try to find some people with good idea :)

Wishing you luck,

Martin
