In answer to jjurk888The chinese suppliers should make them pay for samples. Suppliers can't go around handing out products for free, when I ask for samples, I expect to pay for them, it is only right. In return, I would hope the rest of the transaction would go well.

most of tham don't want to be paid via credits card or paypal, or COD or escrow or moneybookers
they ask TT or Western , so we paid in TT and ... finally we were scammed
in the last 5 days of hard work and our post in reserach of our product with no TT and western, we received 99% scam and 100% email with TT and western payment requests

Again we meet here. And how about your case now?
Also us, our company ask for payment with bank T/T or
Western Union
usually. Because it's the widely and friendly way for business here in
. Most of our partners do it at their pleasure. I knew they DID take risk when they make such decision though they trust me. We really appreciate their trust and do my best to push the ongoing cooperation.
Yes, Paypal, Credit card, ....... can do something to prevent buyers into scam. We understand and hope we both put less risk into a new transaction. But some of these pay ways limit to certain case.
PAYPAL Not so widely use in mainland
due to high handling fee, bank account limit, amount limit, long period. It's good for online business.
Last month, one of my client advise to pay by PAYPAL. We tried to feel the paypal service, but finally we gave up. : (
At the same time, we suggest Credit Card and others, unfortunately we could not convince him we're serious seller. Maybe we both lost a valued partner only because of the payment tool issue.
The scam make many trademan worry about the reputation of the partner when they're going to start business. It's a barriers & bad news to the e-trade and international trade. I think when payer tell a payee true or fraud carefully, they should mainly identify via the professional communication on target items, also take the payment terms into consideration. ![]()

I too have been ripped off by one of these international slicksters. We the trading community must do a better job of sharing information to potential investors that this money is not needlessly lost and trade seriously harmed with an environment of hesitation and fear. Employees of some of these companies, while working as data receivers, steal contact information and redirect the investor to their website. They then ask for money and send no merchandise. They give a web url that was obtained by copy and paste so that the site checks out. But they are not its representative.
I suggest a practice that is made common on paypal. Send a small amount (even a penny) to be picked up. Follow with a letter in a envelope to the address they gave. They must receive the letter with only the MTCN number. They must retrieve the electronic amount and then email you with both correct information. This makes their identity and address more firm and certain when in need of tracking them down. Still more ideas need to hit this and other forums to stop international trade theft.
Hope I contributed to a possible solution.

2) Specialization on the kind of product or services catered to the consumer.
3) Bank References
4) Mandate of persons or representative negotiating your business interest from their
