Calling all experienced China exporters -

Have you ever been to the Hong Kong Electronics Fair or the "Canton Fair" in Guangzhou?

I want to visit both these fairs in April 2006 and I wonder if there are any important things I need to be aware of? And does anyone have any positive recommendations for travel agents or tour organisers that you've used or heard about? I only know of two western tour organisers helping international businesspeople visit the trade fairs:

the internet marketing guru Brad Fallon (www.chinaimportseminar.com);
the China electronics wholesaler Chinavasion (www.chinavasion.com/travel);

Can anyone add more actual tours to that list?

Thanks to everyone in advance for your tips!

Replying to [adeela]: Trade shows are informative about the development in your field of interest.

Also you get to build your supplier base.

My suggestion is that you'd better employ a local as your guide and interpreter, he can solve everything for you, including price negotiation, the price in Changsha is 200 EUR for a daily service, including tour guide and interpreter and secretary service.
