Yes your English is poor. But you are not expected to communicate well in a language which is not your native one. A way to better your English is to use it as often as you can. Maybe you could take some lessons. Reading is an excellent way of improving your writing skills

Hello, are you from New Zealand?Your English Level is very good.May I make a friend with you? Edited.

The only other thing I would add is don't say "you understand" when you don't! I've had many Chinese suppliers say they understand, then when I get the new sample or whatever we are discusing...it is clear they did not understand. It's always a good idea at the end of the meeting to discuss again what is expected of you. Your customers will appreciate that!

I have the same question as you with English.  In fact , I like English and want to practic my English more better. I have the chance to meet my foreign customer face to face, but I am so unconfident and nervous  that

cann't speak out one more words.

Hello ! And good luck .

First things first how many foreign books have you read , remember English is not your first language.

So why are you downing yourself read some books your company should  have  resources  for  you to learn the language of commerce or the company will be left behind.

You might not be able to speak English but you can type it , because you have no one to practice with.

So for now read and learn to write English the rest will fall into place GOOD   LUCK!!!!!!!!

No, no...never be afraid of asking too many questions...be afraid of not asking enough questions and then having customer disappointed by end result. Or lack of end result

Learn and practice... check out www.aci-esl.com this might be the solution you are looking for... they have several levels so you can choose which level you think is appropriate for you... and learn together with others like you, eager to know more about the English language. Good luck!

Hi,

Not sure if this has been suggested before, but you can try calling up random English-speaking people on Skype and chatting with them in your spare time.  I see that many people have suggested you practice, practice, practice, and I couldn't agree more!

Best of luck,

Ryan
