VIOP Ergo Premium 8i MP3 Exercise Bike

If running the risk of getting your neck broken on our increasingly congested road networks does not appeal and you prefer your social interaction to be strictly virtual, yet you want to get a little cardiovascular workout, then this VOIP and MP3 enabled Ergo Premium 8i digital exercise bike from Daum Electronics could be exactly what you’re looking for.

Coming complete with a screen the Ergo Premium 8i, once hooked up to your broadband connection, will allow you to race against other ‘riders’ via virtual courses, displayed via a colour screen, based on real routes whilst you taunt them about their heartbeats (the Ergo Premium 8i monitors not only your pulse but makes all riders pulses visible to those competing) via the bike’s inbuilt VOIP connection. And, if you get a little bored of the virtual company you could always opt to listen to the onboard MP3 player instead.

Ergo Premium 8i MP3 Exercise Bike

Inbuilt MP3 player aside, thanks to the Ergo Premium 8i being digital, the bike will dynamically calculate the resistance offered via the pedals dependant on the course – so if the actual course your programmed route is modelled on goes uphill the bike will simulate the increased power needed just as if you were on a bicycle cycling the route in reality.

There’s little doubt that adding a competitive nature to your exercise regime can prove enormously production in striving to raise your game and, for those you looking to exercise at home the Ergo Premium 8i will doubtless prove to be a great motivator.

The Ergo Premium 8i retails for £1064 (approximately $2160) excluding shipping and you can become acquainted with the Ergo Premium 8i’s impressive and lengthy list of features – which includes an on-board SD card slot as well as USB connectivity – via the Sport-Tiedje Website.
