I am a little confused about contacting with foreigners. I have some customers, but when I gave them the quotation list, then no reply again.
Could you some one tell me what can I say in the following email ? i have nothing to say just say did you receive my email and how about our quotation, then no words.
Just a little confused.
Hope some can help me.

Replying to [jiaohong]:most of the guys are trying to ask quotation only , not all guys look like a fool , they are so smart that they will compare all the price everywhere , including your competitors , the only way you can do is to get the bottom line of the price .... everybody wants good quality products with cheapest price , is it possible ?

most people are just looking and when you send a quote they get scaired !! Just send them an email telling the price with a letter saying this is how much and if or when you decide You Would like (the product ) then I will send an att. invoice for you !! a lot of people are just courious apout price and sending an invoice scares them It would help if you can advertise the priice up front !! then all those just looking wouden't have to bother you about price !!!! thank you !

Replying to [jiaohong]:As a buyer the first question for me is " Does this product have the quality and price I want"
I will ask the supplier details of the product and other things like packaging. I expect prompt replies and accurate information. If I think that the information is inaccurate or the price seems too high then I will not continue.
Be patient with us buyers. Feed us with all the information you have of your product. Give us your BEST price first. Due to language difficulties you may not fully understand our questions etc. Ask us for clarification. Hope this helps. John (motrax)

Replying to [jiaohong]:Hi, you need not to worry too much. There are many factors out there beyond your control.Freight cost is one example. You pay sample cost of 12 USD,and you need 150 USD to get it.
To Joyce,Africans like "good" things too.Ofcousre our "problems" make us choose "cheap" things.
Changes will come.When???????

Replying to [jiaohong]: I donot agree with you, when we gave the buyer a final price, they still ask us cau you lower the price since your competitors give me more low prices, although their quality is not good. At this moment, buyers will care more about the prices.
I think it is very common that buyers didnot give you reply about your quotation, since there are many reasons that we can figure out, so we no need to spend time to find it out, the determination is belong to buyers, what we can do is try our best to do our job well.

Replying to [jiaohong]:
If you do not know what foreigners( or buyers) want how can you succeed.
99.9% traders in China have no product knowledge, have no idea about trends in foreign markets, do not understand competition and yet expect instant gartification in terms of business and profits.
If you give no advantage to buyer he does not need you.
Most traders in China live in a dreamworld assuming that they can find buyers at a click of a button on the website and they will become millionaires overnight as if the buyers were waiting for some magician trader from China to offer them a low price.!!!!! You have to be more realsitic, more pragmatic and offer value for money to buyers.

Replying to [jiaohong]:Actually , frankly speaking , after you will pay 100% effort , if you can get 5% orders in his field , you are successful already . do not need to worry about that , not all the guys who asked you for quotation will have business with you , it is normal and common sense in the gobally business .

Replying to Simond]:
Well said and so true.

Is there one mainland Chinese seller in these forums who understands what Simond just said here:
"If you give no advantage to buyer he does not need you."
Come on ... is there even one Chinese mainland seller who understands the true meaning of those words?
(Hint: in the West we call it "Point of difference").
Any mainland Chinese seller who ever takes the time to understand the importance of "Point of difference" for a Western buyer will make many sales.
Again Simond ... well said mate.

why don't you go to USA but CHINA ? chinese manufacturers always provide you guys in other developed countries best benefit . do you always go to survey or audit the manufacturers before you contact her ? gobal buyers just see the low cost in china , you all misunderstand chinese manufacturers , they are improving in these years already , but you are all using old attitude to judge chinese products . please come to CHINA and survey more before publishing you words .
