[em10] I am from China, and I have been in the job as a foreign trader.

I am a little confused about contacting with foreigners. I have some customers, but when I gave them the quotation list, then no reply again.

Could you some one tell me what can I say in the following email ? i have nothing to say just say did you receive my email and how about our quotation, then no words.

Just a little confused.

Hope some can help me.

Replying to [jiaohong]:you should rember every customer's name, it is a kind of respect. when asked why they didn't reply the e-mail, maybe the price is higher than their afford. so you should have a good research about the market.

Replying to [jiaohong]: Hello! I am confused with "buying" from Foreigners!! I have 3 contacts, and am ready to buy. But people keep telling me Not to do it!!! They said I will be scammed. So I am trying to learn how to find out if these suppliers are real or not!

Your delay may involve people like me, who are making sure we will receive the product we buy!

Replying to [jiaohong]:Dear friend
Dont be confused. Imagine the people searching on alibaba for offers. They will receive dozens of offers and usually they only reply to the most interesting offers. The others will often be deleted. Many people in the western countries work very efficient and unfortunately forget to give feedback to those who offerd something, but were why ever not competittve enough.
I know it is not like in your culture, but there is nothing bad about it and you should no longer be confused. Eventually just ask for feedback when you sent the quotations. If somebody is polite, he may give you an answer. If not it means, that your quotation is far from over or your contact is not shure if he wants to make the business.

Head up my friend and never give up! [em2]

ya it is really a problem.
i have seen many people delayed their goods even they have talked so good in the contract.
i think the right thing for you to do now is to find a good friend more than to find a good supplier. find a trusted friend is very important.
by the way, what is your products you want to buy?
i may can give you some advice.

[em3]hi. foreigners they always do it. it got to do with the prices at the end, if the prices are ok then they will come back to u,
and regarding the reply as them if you have received the e-mail is there any comments on the same. if they reply it means they serious otherwise. they are wasting your time and their own as well.
unfortunately a it happens a lot now a days.
