Yes, you can buy shoes from Putian but only replicas of Nike instead of authentic ones. I bet you'll be scammed as they are not the authorized brand distributors in China. Take care !

I think this topic / thread should be pinned somewhere easily found on the forums .Along with other threads which highlight the scam potential on this and other trading platforms . Not just for the Putian scams ,but ALL areas.


The main thing which comes to my mind are as follows .


I recently was in telephone contact with Alibaba HQ ,for a number of reasons .I raised the topic of scam listings on this platform,together with some questions regarding gold membership verifications processes. Quite frankly I was astonished by the response to my questions etc .There was almost total denial that scam listings were on the platform .Fair enough you may say ,as no company rep is going to decry their own workplace ,or management etc


But even when I forced the subject further regarding scam listings ,there was still denial.This was after my requesting the Alibaba rep to try something . IE , I requested they choose any international name brand and type it in to the search box .Then check the returns total on the search term .Even after doing this ,with the input term being an international brand of mobile phone ,returning high hundreds of returns ,there was still denial of problem from the Ali rep.


Their reasoning >>> the returns were from gold suppliers ,,therefore all was ok .As the gold suppliers are all fully verified suppliers . They just would not accept that the international brand kit cannot be bought in this way ,on this platform ..Sorry Alibaba ,,just what planet are you on please ?


As far as I figure things ,gold supplier status is nothing more than paid for advertising space on this platform.With the "verification " process appearing to be nothing more than verifying if the supplier can afford to pay the annual gold fee.


My questions to any one in the know regarding international law.>> Can Alibaba be deemed ,in law, to be complicit in potentially fraudulant business? in terms of them clearly allowing listings for products which are not possible to obtain ,via normal trading on this platform?

I find it hilarious that people who are trying to make a quick buck by illegally selling name brand products without a licence are complaining about being ripped off and scammed.

If it wasn't for your own greed you wouldn't have been ripped off in the first place.  You people do no research put no effort into marketing you just expect someone to hand you an iphone or something for $150 so you can sell it on Ebay for $600, while all you do is sit around on your * scratching yourself. If you bothered to do a bit of work you would find that there are suppliers that can be trusted on this site. You will also find the majority of Chinese people very kind and helpful. Perhaps if you bothered to look further than name brand items you might find some items of real quality and ingenuity. You would also find there is better margin in those products too. But then again that might require some work and common sense something that always seems to be lacking in people who get taken for money.

I as well made a purchase from Fujian Putian Chengxiang better trade co.ltd. I ordered a apple iphone, was sent 4 different tracking numbers and was finally sent a used and fake ipod nano and to make matters worse the trade manager cn200051541,named kenny. jiangmr<tradeali6@hotmail.com had the nerve to get on line and ask if I recieved the merchandise and when I told him it was fake and worth 69 usd he replied with  emoticon smiley face. buyers beware of this company!!

i sent money to a company in fujian province to buy 5 pairs of customize shoes, for 220usd. and i knew it was a replica but it is for personal use aand my mate wanted a pair. it is customized to my taste as well. but the thing is i dont see him online, so i added him on my bros account and guess what he is online. i have posted this in the forums, title is " watch out chin scammer will screw ur nuts out" please help, i want those shoes.
