None. They pay either up front, or deposit and balance on fax copy of B/L or LC at sight.

Replying to [Madhur_Agarwal]: I hope your not planning on providing unsecured credit. With the volitility of todays markets that could spell the doom of your business. How would you know if the company you were extending credit to actually had good credit or was not buying from you as one last ditch effort before bankruptcy.

No credit if you want to avoid being scammed. However it is possible in some countries to get export finance from the Government when dealing with financially strong companies and government contracts abroad.

Do you really want to do business with a customer who can not pay the bill?

If you wish to trade with that type of customer find an agent in the target market or set up a subsidiary in that country staffed with competent people. Either will be cheaper than risking giving credit to unknown businesses

Good luck

No credit, because of not knowing throughly of the buyer, only T/T full payment before shipment or deposit or other payment terms depends on different cases.

If you give them the credit, it is very risky and big pressure for your finance that cannot be afforded by every company.

We have to be more careful to proceed on! [em1][em18]

Hi Madhur,
Credit is good but we need cash.
Hope you will not allow credit, even if the buyer is a good payer. I have been there and until now I cannot collect the payment.

Dear Friend

Thanks for the valueable advice.

I think your idea is good. Only that finding a good Agent is one of the most difficult task.

What do your feel?
