Replying to [Anshu]: I do agree with you that a lot of emotions come into service, when that has to do with the product we are marketing. The business we do must be followed with passion as far as i am concerned.

Reply to  [eloho]:No place for emotions in the Business. If you have emotions means you are not a business man, you should be a poet.

There are occasions, we are acting on emotions. Especially when the other side is non-responsive, mishandling, unreasonably demanding.or wasting time to close a deal, you may have a bad feeling. Of course, if you have no other choice, you will have to digest that also. The emotional reaction comes only when you have a choice to select the best one among the offers. The percentage may vary depending on 0-30% based on the nature of people.I can quote an example. If you make inquiry two times and don't proceed; go in for third time, naturally the other side man will be disturbed to see you.

A business always involves humans, so emotions will always be a part of business. A product or service cannot just appear like a bubble, it has to cater to an emotional need, whether real or perceived.

Dear Macs

I totally agree with your point.

Business lot depands on your risk taking and decision making and have something to do with emotions.

Peoples decision and risk taking capacity in business does get effected by emotions.

Like a emotianally unstable person is not likely to take big risk. Also a fustrated person is less likely to make a very sensible decision.

I have also observed that many perosns decisions are also clouded by ego factor.

Replying to [macs2005]:Sorry Armila, I want to agree with you, but I couldn't, As Emotions may be behind some of the product but The need & wants are the major criteria for the product creation, I mean to say if a person is hungry or he is Thirsty, he just want to drink water, it doesnt matter whether it is bisleri, Gangajal, or from a particular river.(May be his emotions attached with the particular source) . Emotions plays a significance role in the business, but it is not the whole of business.
