Replying to [naturalflora]: as far as i know,a lot of Chinese people want to invest or doing business in Africa.has the splendid nature resource,such as oil,diamond,belong to big developeing country.so absolutely it's a very good place.but i also heard a lot bad social problem form the TV and newspaper.that's a major factor everyone have to put into consideration.[em10]

I agree that Africa is a wide open market, but the recurring scams from that part of the world and the lack of means to verify businesses makes it almost impossible to do business, because you do not know who to trust.

I have found, that as with any country outside of your own that if you have a personal connection with someone in the African area that you can communicate on government policies, proceedures, protocol etc.  It will then make it easier to transact business.

Thanks for imformation that Africa has 14.1 % population , but i am sorry , may be we can consider them as a consumer , demand is not only necessicity , preferences , choice and purchasing power , i think consumption patter is quite different.

Hi, I am a South African Exporter myself and would love to think we have a great reputation, but unfortunately a lot of scams and fruadsters seems to be comming from Togo, Cameroon or Nigeria, or that is what they say, but they could actually be anywhere in the world. I think in the end of the day it is like anywhere in the world, you get the good guys and you get the bad guys. Just be carefull.
