There is no clear cut rule about the five variants of the animal horoscope. The first one is actually the EARTH, WATER, FIRE, METAL and WOOD . There is no GOLD actually, but being the first variant, and from the Earth, we got precious metals such as Gold and Platinum, they use Gold or white gold as symbolic of this variant.


The year 2008 in the Chinese Calendar is the beginning of a new cycle. The whole cycle is 60 years, and it begins with the Earth, then there is water and so on.


This is a new ERA of the nations, a new generation, like Genesis. It is the start of shift of power, political and economical change which affect the global stage. Lots of this has to do with their relationship with God as the vertical bar and to mankind as the horizontal beam.
