Replying to [9216api]: Orgenza is a nice fabric. It is basically a sheer fabric. Orgenza is a 100% silk fabric but now a days, it is also available in polyester. Because of its close proximity with silk orgenza and much at a lower prices, it has become quite popular. Orgenza (silk & polyester) goes in garments as well as furnishing items. This fabric is an elegant fabric and should be used with care.

Replying to [9216api]:Organza in bridal wear, especially the polyester, is too stiff. We find it is outdated, outgrown it's use.

Organza is an almost transparent, mesh-like sheer fabric. It is crisp, Light weight plain weave fabric, with medium to high yarn count.
Organza tends to have a stiff hand or feel. It is similar to chiffon but is heavier and has more body.
Organza is used in bridal wear, trimming, neckwear and as lining for sheer fabrics. It is also often used in layers for gowns.
Organza with embroidery nowadays is very famous for party wear.
Wider width of poly organza with embroidery are in extensive use for making curtains also.

Replying to [9216api]:Organza are almost used for curtain because of it is sheer and cheaper.Organza Embroidery is also often used in Garments,especially in bridal wear,and be made to lace and trimming.
