We just start to make a business with China Supplier and having a difficulty to decide using FOB or CNF Pricing.

We prefer to have CNF pricing but our supplier always talk about the incresing of freight cost from time to time of our order. Since we do not have any option and we need the goods urgent, we always receive the incresing.

We are thinking to have FOB price than CNF but we do not know how to make a contact with China's shipping line. We already have made a discussion with the agent of China Shipping Line in our country but we did not found the good result. We find: no space available, lower loaded into container than our common loading shipment, different price from the agent and shipping line etc..

Please to give us some advice and sorry if this topic is already posted...Thks.

Maybe contact a Freight Forwarder in your country, as he can negotiate with several shipping companies, and can also arrange to have the goods shipped from China to your country directly.
There should be many Freight Forwarders in your country.

We have made some contact with freight forwarder in our country to make a collect shipment but as I said on my posting, we found lower loading in a container, always said no space available etc..from the freight forwarder company.

I suggest the best way is to make a contact dirrectly to the shipping line at china then after that the china shipping line will contact their agent in Indonesia.

Is there any of shipping line of china company as a member of this forum?????
