i have started newly in Trading and imports. Simuntaneously i am working on importing couple of products.

i Want to know what is custom duty and total expence per tonne on WELDING ELECTRODES IF I IMPORT IT FROM CHINA (BOTH STAINLESS STEEL AND MILD STEEL ELECTRODES). HS code is 8311 (i am not very sure). i am working on same product since last 3 months. As the product was sort of new to me. I have also inquired with one Chartered accountant and CHA all are giving me different answers. how can i know the Exact Duty levied (custom duty+add. duty+edu cess+ANTIDUMPING DUTY IF ANY).

other thing i want to know is how much excise and VAT i need to pay when i sale this imported products in india.

sir, I havent got enough information but product has good potential as there is a huge market in Gujarat.
