I have met an Indian manufacturer company at an International fair in Frankfurt. We have placed an order to his company and made them the advance payment long time ago. But they havent made the delivery yet and they dont return me the advance payment neither. They are always coming up with different lies and promises but no action. What is the best action to take for such cases in India.

Could someone enlighten me on how I can verify Indian businessses that are registered as sole proprietorships/individual business. They are a Trustpass member and sell (or claim to sell) many different, unrelated items like perfumes, sequins, etc. which is why I'm a little doubtful. Would appreciate any input/suggestions, and sorry if this has already been discussed.

*DGFT
*The Indian Counsalate or Embassy in your country.
Alternately, you can hire a lawyer here in India, who will take matters forward.
