Just now govt has increased import duty to steel price 5%. does this also apply to HS code 8311. before this the duty for the code stand around 36.95% approx. What wll be duties now.

Another thing, i have also contacted two CHA's they unable to provide me the valuation/Passing rate for mild steel welding electrodes(E6013) and stainless steel welding Electrodes.

Second thing, i will go for few tonnes of imports say one or two tonnes (if stainless steel), so freight cost will be high from china to india. What to do?

I'm aware of the new developments, but not too sure on the rates of import duties on MS/SS electrodes.Leave me a message via TM.

My freind, this is not the best time to import goods taking in to consideration 25/30 % rise in the exchange rate of the $.

I do not want to discourage you, but the fact and conditions say that there is gloom all over/around with undefined certanities.

Current Situations demand to stay 'Status Quo' ( jaise thay)

I am sort of lucky that i havent put order till date...Although simuntaneosly.. i am doing research..on many other products like..Embroidery machine, bruting wheels, 3D pics etc... i see opportunity in each of them.

but welding Electrodes is on my preference list. lets see. As soon as you know the answer of the before said question..let me know.

Whether its indian customer or foreign.........most important thing is always the Quality. Remember Race to quality has no end...............ans No product is of much important than quality if you have a long term point of view of your business.


Now a days, too people search for cheaper price but quality goods. Its hardly possible.........only miracle can make it happen............good quality at cheaper price.
