Hi Elaine
You would treat a business as it should be and find a way to be different. There may be many skin-care shop for women because the demand from gilrs for those products is big.
However, men are a different breed and may need more survey on your part, what product they buy, what services they may need, and how much are they willing to pay. Without that information your business could collapse because it is not what you can sell or offer. It is about what the market needs and is wiling to pay for it.
Build a Business Plan around that, and estimate your cash flow, note that for the first months you will be spending more than getting revenues, so find out you have a financial support to help you endure that situation. I believe that is the most critical stage of any business, find a way to survive the first 6 months, and then able to diversify your product line. Customers are very picky, if you don't carry the brands they like, they will go somewhere else.

This has to welll defined on your mind. Tips on how to benefit from some of transactions come later, first focus on the business itself, and then you will focus on how to make more money though the positive tips you will get.

Cheers

It is really a good idea to open a Men's skin-care shop, for men and women should be treated equally. Nowdays there are more and more men start to focus on their apperaences.

Wish you success and I would like to be your male model for that if necessary!
