This is to ensure that the ordered equipment is in compliance with the agreed specification and quality assurance. When your buyer ask for this inspection, be sure to include this in your price. Otherwise, inform your buyer to pay for it.

To clear this with SGS (or other inspection companies), you have to give them a copy of the buyer's purchase order. If the PO did not include any specification or quality requirement, SGS (or the inspection company) will use their standard specification or quality standard for that particular product.
