The next time you need to protect what you have built, let Nano Technology protect your blood, sweat and tears!
Post 1 of 17
The rough and tuff construction field is opening a "fresh cold one" for their new friends, the Science nerds. Nano technology has made its way out of the computer and into the construction field. Nanotechnology is now able to protect all of the things we can build ![em16]
Nano Technology is very small, to help get a visual lets take a 1 millimeter wide sugar granule is visible. [em9]But try to envision one sugar molecule, which measures about 1 nanometer across, or one million times smaller. Nanotechnology refers to materials, devices and processes that take place on a scale generally between 0.1 and 100 nanometers. A nanometer is one thousandth of a micrometer, which is equal to one thousandth of a millimeter.
[em24]
For about 70 years, electron microscopes have opened the window for scientists to observe nanoscale structures -- a red blood cell’s diameter is approximately 7 micrometers or 7,000 nanometers; a DNA molecule is about 2.5 nanometers wide. Now you can begin to appreciate how extraordinary it is to work with matter on a nanoscale.[em28]

Work at the nanoscale level can lead to innovations that allow surgeons to successfully repair a weakened artery, and allow chemists to develop safer, more effective, crop protection treatments or create a pair of pants that change depending on the weather! Ultimately, nanotechnology is considered an enabling technology that is leading to advanced materials, devices, and applications that improve life, health, safety, and the environment. The Sealant industry has made huge changes with this new science technology. Sealants that provide fire resistants, metal protection, concrete enhancement, wood protection, anti graffiti, air craft, ship hulls. Bigger is not always better!

The Scientists and companies involved promote the responsible development of nanoscale products in accordance with Responsible Care, supports the use of existing regulatory frameworks for managing nanomaterials and seeks to engage others in order to develop and maintain a public awareness and understanding of the advantages of nanotechnology.[em2]

The next time you really need to protect what you have built, let Nano Technology protect your blood, sweat and tears! [em16]

Replying to [Jimmy Neutron ]:

What about the downsides of nano-technology? There has been a lot of talk about its dangers, you were going to send me some info that allegedly proves the safety of your products, but so far I haven't received anything.

Replying to [germex]:Again you are correct[em3]
I am awaiting permission to send out the information. Cooperate office has been patenting all of the formulas. Our USA Military departments have put limits on which of our products we can even sell out of country. The information on the first pamphlet sited the companies who did the tests and the military applications. [em12]
One of our products is so environmentally safe (The Anti Microbial Barrier) it will be used in the medical field as well as in the food Industry. Not just FDA approved. (We talked about how little trust is given to their information) we had several third parties test all of our products so we can answer questions like the ones you have! [em22]
I will post it as soon as I am cleared.

Ok, sounds fair! - By the way, does at least the FDA trust itself? [em1]

Replying to [germex]:[em31]I think they are trying to keep many terrible things from getting onto the public market.
The problem is money [em4]Good or Bad [em42]get things fixed![em22]
The people in our Industry know this as well, that is why we have independent tests as well[em7]

Replying to [Mike W Liu]: I am in a holding pattern. We are waiting for governmental clearance to share the details of these products. I will send you some information as soon as I am allowed. If you send me an email to : Stopgraffiti@cox.net
I will put you on my waiting for information list.
Sincerely,
Jimmy[em3]

Hi Jimmy, looks like it's not time yet to praise the virtues of nanotechnology. There are quite a few disturbing facts, as the referenced article tells us.

Replying to [germex]:The information you have read is correct!!! We are the only Nano manufacturing company that I know of, pushing for new regulations. Our products are totally inert, the other "Nano like"products are damaging and create bad press!! [em23]
I will clear your mind with the facts and our truth as soon as I get our Governmental clearance.[em9]
Again... I may be 6 feet under by the time that happens![em2][em2]
There are few things I won't do for my Granddaughter... Having a colony of Nano tube shaped aliens sliding down my nose hairs and popping out my nose is very high on that list!! [em7][em7]
