1. Study his culture & holiday - it shows that you care, in that way you can tune on the same wave.
2. strength the relationship on a personal basis - remember the culture difference, in some cases you cannot get too personal.
3. Meet him face to face, host him in your country, show him some of your culture but also show respect to his culture (remember that in some cases your culture may offend him).
4. Show him that you trust him.
5. Remind him that you are there - Personally signed "paper" greeting card for holiday (also his holiday) and occasions is better then just a sparkling photo via email.
6. Be patient he might be not familiar with your culture so give him some credit before judging him.

Respect bring trust and a "real" shake of hands is better then signing a contract.

First, you have to know what his / her needs and understand well the customer's questions regarding your product. Let them feel that they are important. Building rapport is very necessary in communicating with the customers.

Hi, nice to meet you here.

RESPECT- the most vital role to build up a good relationship with your foreign customer. Be a friendly-oriented individual, treat all your customers like a king. Execute ethical manners in dealing with your customers. If you are on phone, observed phone courtesy.
Promote professionalism, act accordingly. You have to let them feel that they are very important to you. Accomodate all his/her concerns and provide solution as quickly as you can.[em19]
