I am new to international trade and wish to purchase a product from a company but the representative I have been working with via email has asked me to wire transfer the money to a personal account in Korea when the company is located in China. I am hesitant to do this as I do not know the person or the company. Any suggestions as to how I can be assured to recive the product and the company assured they will receive payment?

In this case, you may do more Due Diligence work before payment, trying to find more about their products and company profile in China. Or you may simply forget it and turn to a better supplier later. Take care!

Replying to [nenter]:try L/C payment or use www.escrow.com that would be the best for security payment. check out the web site. Many companies in China dont know to much about escrow.com
