Hello

At the end of 2007 the quota on the trade of dresses between the UK and china was lifted. Previous to this the import of dresse from china into the UK was limited. As supply of the export licences was limited, the cost of export licences used to become very expensive in times of high demand.

Can anyone tell me how the system works now the quota has been removed. i know that my manufacturer will still need to obtain export licences but does anyone know who they will obtain them from and how much they will cost. Now they are unlimited I am assuming they will cost far less or perhaps nothing!

I would be very grateful for advice. [em3]
