Exporting from China to another EU country "DIRECT"
Post 1 of 9
Hi,

We are trying to gather information as to the process of importing/Exporting into the EU.

I am going to explain this in basic terms, to try and keep it simple !!

We are a UK based company
We want to export DIRECT from CHINA to another EU based company
We would want our EU buyer's details on ALL paperwork

How can this be acheived without having to.......

1) Set up a business in China ?
2) Set up a business in the receiving EU country

There will be tax and VAT issues aswell of coarse !!

Any help would be much appreciated

You request your Chinese Supplier to address the Bill of Lading directly to your EU customer. The Supplier's Invoice and Packing list should be addressed to you, and you then re-issue an invoice and packing list on your letterhead to your customer.

The relationship should be:
You are the customer of the China Supplier. You pay the supplier.
You are the supplier of the other UK company, the other UK company pay you. And you issue the invoice and packing list with your company's title.
But, you can have the Chinese Supplier you the packing list and invoice with your customer's title for the supplier to export. It's workable. But not indicate your UK customer's email address, and you do all the communications between the UK customer, just in case, after some time, you customer does business directly with Chinese supplier.
Or you employ your company's representative states in China. Heheh... I canserve this role.

Replying to [sugaray501]:Do an agreement with the supplier, that you want to be a commission agent for the Company. that way you can secure your payment with the supplier and you have to just get the deal done and then supplier will raise all the documents in the name of your buyer. of cource payment dealings will also be done between them so you will have to be cautious and then deal with the clients.

This is right way under the stable relationship between buyer and seller. My means if your EU seller relationship is not so good, once showed the EU address to China supplier,Maybe supplier will display EU information accidental or this supplier directly contact with EU buyer, then what will be happen??

So only deal with from the paper work is not best way,we think! Before we also met this kind thing, our way is to pay amendment fee to forwarder ![em17]

Hi,may I know if you have good forwarder in China? If yes,you can talk about with them for amendment the BL after you paid the supplier in China .That to say, first, your supplier will ask you pay the money upon the copy of BL and other documents, you paid accordinly.Second, you ask your supplier send the BL and certificate of original (if need)to your forwarder in China, then ask forwarder change the shipper into your company ,but you have to pay amendment fee to forwarder ,it is not too much .Finally, you ask your forwarder to send the amendment Original BL to you directly.once you got it,you do the packing list and invoice upon your supplier faxed you to change the consignee and others you need to change .so that is all,the goods will be shipped to EU buyer directly, and you send all paper documents to your EU buyer directly too. What do you think??

the best way is to use a company who already has set up businesses in those areas, there are plenty of companies who offer those services between targeted countries, in your case China and a chosen EU country. send me a private message for more information and details if you are interested in them.
