L/C is preferrable to me compared with T/T. As under L/C, we can easily get some loan from negotiation bank here for our financing purpose; Second, we get a 100% L/C-issuing bank's guarantee that we will receive the proceeds from negotiation of an L/C only if we submit to bank all documents required for the L/C, It in L/C-issuing bank or reimbursement instead of L/C applicant or buyer at the first position to take responsibility for payment.

But for business with African countries, Middle-east and South-American countries, we think we had better have an confirmed L/C or 100% by T/T in advance.

L/C shall imperatively involve some bank charges , but so far it remains the most safe terms of payment in international trade. We only accept T/T with our old customers.

Replying to [Admin]: i prefer T/T for the speed . but L/C is more safer for the seller ., and L/C is more complicated .

It's really a big problem.

Replying to [Admin]: THE TT PAYMENT IS GOOD FROM SUPLIER VIEW POINT AND LC PAYMENT IS GOOD FROM BUYER VIEW POINT.
I THINK IT SAYS ALL

Replying to [itibd]: DEAR FRIEND
IN MY VIEW THE TT AND LC ARE DIFFERENT TECHNICALL SPEAKING BUT IN ALL PRACTICAL ASPECTS THEY ARE TWO WAYS OF DOIG INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS AND HENCE ARE COMPARABLE.
IN A SINGLE LINE TT IS GOOD FROM SUPPLIER VIEW POINT AND LC IS GOOD FROM BUYER VIEW POINT.
