I heard some where that if those people in China who are currently cycling and if they suddenly change to s , there will not be enough petrol world wide.
If those people in India who is also cycling or riding a bull cart, all of a sudden they own a NANO there will not be enough petrol too
So next time if there is any increase in your petrol price, you know who to blame......

It is to be understood that Mr. Alfred Noble has invented Dynamite. whether to use in Bomb or for clearing track is the perceptual thinking

Replying to [Anshu]: Hi Anshu no offence to your post, but when we look at the history of man kind we see that all past civilizations on earth came and went, meaning every past civilization reached a peak and experienced a drastic fall at the end.
We look at this facts bellow that took place between the 19th Century and the 20th Century and man kind is in the verge of a world wide calamity be it by an epidemic or religious attack from the extreme and back to the same cycle.
I am not an alarmists but when we see these facts bellow it make human curiosity go for a long confusing ride.
Globally, the 20th century was marked by: (a) two devastating world wars; (b) the Great Depression of the 1930s; (c) the end of vast colonial empires; (d) rapid advances in science and technology, from the first airplane flight at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina (US) to the landing on the moon; (e) the Cold War between the Western alliance and the Warsaw Pact nations; (f) a sharp rise in living standards in North America, Europe, and Japan; (g) increased concerns about the environment, including loss of forests, shortages of energy and water, the decline in biological diversity, and air pollution; (h) the onset of the AIDS epidemic; and (i) the ultimate emergence of the US as the only world superpower. The planet's population continues to explode: from 1 billion in 1820, to 2 billion in 1930, 3 billion in 1960, 4 billion in 1974, 5 billion in 1988, and 6 billion in 2000. For the 21st century, the continued exponential growth in science and technology raises both hopes (e.g., advances in medicine) and fears (e.g., development of even more lethal weapons of war).
Just my thoughts enjoy the day….

When China is making highway At Himalaya, will this not cause the pollution. Though Global warming has reached at alarming situation, what is our role in it, Has we stopped using Cars, Human is the biggest enemy of nature and then too Agricultural land and forests are being cut and developed for residential or factory purpose, Can we stop this. or avoid this. Nope. Well I believe that "Everything is pre-written and nothing can be re-wrtten"
The post was meant to illustrate the remarkable contribution of Human.

It may be cheap.... but wouldn't it cause lots of problems?
Like.....
1) 10-15 years later when it is time to buy a new car, wouldn't India experience a mountain full of cheap TATA car at the car dumps?
2) The road will be congested? No? I mean, I already see a lot of pedestrians, scooters, bikes, all sort of small transport roaming down the already congested streets...
3) Apparently, the TATA company said that the car is very efficient and environmental friendly. But how can it be friendly if it is till using petroleum?
4) Even if TATA car emit 50% less green gas than a normal car, but since it is so cheap, 2 TATA car is equivalent to a normal car in price will emit the same amount of emmission. Wouldn't it be the same emmission rate?
I am not trying to spoil India's glory for producing the world's cheapest car. Actually, I think highly of the Indians and their progress very much....... but wouldn't an efficient world class Mass Transport System be a better option for an already congested, overcrowded cities for India?
TATA people knew the road conditions, economy condition of the Indian consumer . They have designed accordingly: We are all proud of this: It is betterm the best than all other imported or JV cars like Maruthi etc: We Indians are happy and why people from otehr countries worry about our road and the quality of our car: If you are going to buy this ask the management about the prodcut and quality to them: Donot worry about this.

Sorry for been "sour".... hahaha... that is the price for been an environmental activist... no wonder Al Gore had such a hard time.... LOL
The questions I raised on TATA car is really not my questions. When Henry Ford mass produced the cheapest Ford car for the American during the 19th century, questions like these were been asked often. When rubber tires were invented and made cheap, these questions were raised. When Dell computers mass produced cheap computers for the home user, mass garbage of home used PC were an issue in US.
Well, anyway, you know your country better than I am. So, I will let Indians do what is best for themselves.
Peace.

Yes, I actually agree with you too. Even though I live in Japan, doesn't mean that I support the million of cars export or the hunting of whales.
Japan should instead produce better more efficient car for the global communities. That is why I am so happy that Toyota introduced Hybrid cars into the market and Honda will do so pretty soon, years ago GM and Ford thought it was a "silly" idea but has scheduled in 2012 for their hybrid cars.
I really think that all over the world should think twice before buying a car whether it is cheap or not. With my status, I can afford a car, but I choose not to and I take a train to work everyday.
......................
Anyway, I think we are getting ahead of ourselves for the sake of the future.
For now, India has accomplished the greatest feat ever by producing the cheapest car. I congratulate your country achievement.
