i faced such things at the begining of my working career, bad or lucky ?

Until now i have been in this company for 3 months . What i do is sending emails to customers and chat with them on msn ..
But about one month ago , i faced a bad thing ...
one of my customer from linbane on my Msn asked me to help him find the game :wii game. You know that i am a trade staff in an lighting company , so that i am not familiar with the electric goods . but the customer said that he has been cheated with a supplier .and i am a chinese , so that maybe for me it is easy to communicate with chinese people , and can find good suppliers for him . i am just come out from college and have traning , but i am not willing to make my customer dispointed, so i said to him that may be i can have a try . He said that he needed a sample urgently .
Later when i am free, i am always seach supplieys on alibaba chinese websites.quickly i found a supplier in xiamen city in china . I asked the price is 1000RMB( i did not know the price in the market that time, as i did not make any investigation of this kind of game. In fact that time i did not any consciousness of scamers .the market in china the price is 2600RMB) I quoted the price to my customer. he was very glad and sent the sample fee to me quickly by west union . I was so glad that the customer was so trust me . I did not get out the money first , just used my own money to send the supplier first . The supplier promised that when he got the money he will send the sample to me as soon as possible. I asked him if he can supply 15000Sets of this WII game. He said yes he had( later i know that it is impossible to have so many sets, the Europe vision is very difficult to find.).
But after i sent the money to him , the supplier did not reoly me again .However i called him or send emails to him , no result. until that time i just think that maybe i have been met a cheater.
That time i am most worried is how to reply to the customer , as he needed the sample very urgently , he was waiting for my reply . I just could do is that say sorry to him and told him that i did not get the the money in the west union out, he could refund the money ..But he said :"are you sure that you did not get the money out ".Oh when i heared this sentence, i wanna to cry very much. I am doing my best to help him to find, but he thought that i am also a cheater. But i can understand him , if i was , i will also think in this way . I said to him that i really did not get the money out , pls believe me . 3 days later he send the messenge to me that he has refunded the mony and said that "now i am sure you are an honest girl "
To be honest , that time i felt so happy ..although i have been cheated 1000RMB after i doing my best , Get the customer s word i felt that is enough .
But i am also feel sorry that i have wast the customer time.I helped him to find another company though my friend,i am sure that company is honest, but he said that has missed the time. Later he told me that he still did not find that game , and also met more cheaters when he found himself.
In my mind i think it is good for me to get experiences , tell me that the socity is not the same as the campus, should care of yourself . And when do business should be more attention . And should do the investigations before doing something ...
I hope that everybody will be honest enough in the world..And god will bless all the honest people.
