Partnering with Chinese manufacturers

We have been doing business with the Chinese for years importing product. These same factories sell to several of our competitors also.
We are interested in finding out if there are factories out there that are willing to partner with just us and our manufacturing needs. Possibly even owning part of the factory.We would want them to manufacture only our product in the U.S. Is there some way to gather information on Chinese factories that may be willing to do this?

I am going through the same problem if you mean that you are looking for a partner to manufacture with location in China, for you to sell your product in the USA. If this is the case, what are you looking to manufacture.
I ahve moved to China to make sure that the factory i work with only make this product for us.

but if you want to find one factory just sell to you in USA,that will be a little hard.but if you are a very big costomer for the factory ,maybe the factory will promise you .or ,you can find a factory which not so big but have the capability to produce your products,but the precondition is : this factory didn't export to overseas before.

to bit the market. When the factory is hungry, she promise anything.
Here are some questions you need to consider more.
But when you feed them big enough, how you can be sure?
How you can be sure the factory just produce for you only in the same market even you sign the contract?
What sorts of control or means you are confident that you can glasp
the supplier to work correctly for your orders?
Communications between you and the factory can give much headache and mutual understand means money and time spending.
If the "cow" is not good to give your the right "milk" , will you keep
another one or you start your own factory at the beginning instead?
To rely a few but good suppliers whom can equally share your risks or to avoid the sole supply and let them know you are not just buying from one, so the suppliers will compete each other and provide you the good services and quality as well.
In short, there are lots of factors needed to be calculated seriously.
Try to collect more points of views first and listen.

I am in qingdao city,shandong province of china.We handle some wooden outdoor furnitures.And I don't know if you handle outdoor furnitures in diffierent materials or only one material.So if you want some factory to specially only produce for you,then your orders should have the ability to support one factory,which means you need keep the factory work all over the year.If you buy outdoor furnitures in different materials,then you need have the ability to support several factories to run all over the year.
