Replying to [jadedev]: Try to find one shipping agent in China, many shipping agents have the contract rate with the international courier companies, such as UPS, DHL etc. They can get more discount from these courier companies. Do not use postal service, it is very slow for domestic delivery service, I am sure it would be more slower when doing international shipping.

Replying to [jadedev]:Hello, Jade, Would you mind giving me some advise on where you found your shipping company or who, I am just starting importing form china to australia, heavier quantities then yours but costs do seem very high. I appreciate your time.

I'm in the top end. In the end, I had my package sent from Taiwan and it sure cost a lot less!!!

For larger package, eg in pallet load, can you send by sea?

I have 20 packages that will weigh less than 10kg each that I need shipped to Australia from China.  What is the cheapest way and can you reccomend a company.  I am not in a hurry to receive the items

Quoting from [jadedev]:

I'm not in a major port in Australia. My supplier in China has quoted me $250 for a 7.5kg parcel.

That seems a bit much. Is there any other way of getting is parcel to me cheap?

Hi jadedev, you mentioned about www.sendfromchina.com, I notice their price is much lower. Did you try them at the end? I am also in same situation trying to find cheaper quotes as my supplier quote me 4 kg for nearly US90 for just 4kg of garment parcel. Any info will be appreciated.

Hi, I have signed agreement with courior of a discount account  now, but that is freight to be paid at my end, what do you think of this?  I calculate the parcel you said, it is $110 only.  not everybody have, just because I have the discount from them, as agreement with the courior company, I can not show you which courior company.

Apollo Exports International can do the whole process from the picking up goods from factory in China, to them arriving at your door, in between 3-7days, recorded delivery.

And there is simply 1 set price of £7.95 per KG  (and that inlcudes all VAT, customs, and truck service both ends).
