Hey Guys/Gals,
This may be a silly question, but I'm not sure how the process should go. Should I ask the helper his/her fee before they do any work or do they gather the info I'm seeking then quote me a price? Thanks in Advance for your help.[em20]

[em2][em2] It's simple, you can ask your agent for any question related. They will calculate their costs in their country based on your detailed requirements and then quoted you. Just be straightforward !

Replying to [BigT]: As I know some agents or helpers normally can provide you a price list to cover the general services and special works or extra jobs will charge case by case.
It is better to ask in advance without doubt.

You really need to deside what services you want from the helper and if they can provide this type of service.

If you want to make a container order, agents can charge you a % of that order for their service, this would cover from the start of the order till you get the goods, and maybe the after sales?

Product sourcing is another service but can depend on your requirements, so time is the cost.

Quality control is another service, like pre shipment checks, but you may want another company to do this.

The better Chinese Helpers know their stuff ... they will give you a straight upfront fair price which is usually so reasonable as to be not negotiable.

I can personally vouch for the two above members ... Business in China and Cbeebies (and Jasmine is also another) ... for all verification, sourcing and general negotiation.

For audits of factory QC systems it's hard to go past TonyInspection who applies international ISO standards. Selection of Inspector for pre-shipment inspections depends on complexity of the product.

Ask for the price in beginning.Or after wards you can land up in to any trouble. For any type of activity try to get the quote 1st before you proceed ahead as this will lead to less headache and not much time will be wasted in regards to bargain.
