I've got a problem in our supplier. We ordered and imported goods into Vietnam. Unfortunately, 1/3 of the goods are not really good. But we just realized this after we sent to supplier the 2nd order.

Actually, if the quality in 2nd order also like 1st one, we cannot accept 'cos we cannot sell.

Then we request from the supplier to get back 1/3 and really don't want to order more, unless they and us meet in person to discuss to make sure understand each other. But they still urge us to get 2nd order, if not they will charge us !

Please if you were in the circumstance, wht should do?

We have lived some problems like this before and there is two solution for you, i mean you couldnt give up to cooparate with this company directly caused of to need this goods and the pricing should be really less because 1/3 of the goods should compansate the cost all of them, otherwise its really unmeaningful. The first way is directly find an another supplier for your orders, till to find another one yu could use Chinese inspection and quarantine offices have been equipped with comparatively advanced techniques and facilities for carrying out the task. Moreover, they usually charge a lower fee than some other internationally famous quarantine institutions. As a result, Chinese businessmen, as well as increasing numbers of foreign businessmen, prefer a Chinese quarantine office. Of course, some foreign businessmen still favor a more creditable foreign office. So far, a few leading foreign famous commodity inspection and quarantine institutions have set up branches in China, thereby providing more choices for businessmen. You should cooparate one of them by the way, otherwise you could cooparate with one of the trading company from china, its the best way, they could controll all of the teaing with a small commision, shipments, payments and the delivery time and ofcourse the quality...

I've check the SGS which you've mentioned, it is a reputable inspection company and is reknown for material composition analysis. Also perform pre-loading inspections certification and loading supervision for minerals/commodities.

But actually, our product maybe a little different from others,

If just seeing appearance, a good quality one is same a not good quality one. But when customer using it for a time, then you could give a conclusion about the defference.

Charge for cancelling 2nd order, he said that. But he is so hasty when preparing it...

What will he charge you anything, if the first order is really not in order !
If he is not interested in a person to person clearing, to solve the differences, you should go the hard way !

Offer him, a SGS quality inspection of the ordered merchandise will be accepted, if he pays the fees and he his willing to negotiate about the first delivery !

If he not want, let him use his less quality merchandise by himself !

I think you have to have strict inspection of the goods from your supplier before releasing them for shipment to your buyer. It appears that this is still possible for the 2nd order. For the 1st order that has already gone, if your supplier is after long term business with you the least he could do is replace the substandard goods first and deduct the amount of substandard goods from the payment due for the 2nd order. You need to have a good talk with your supplier and hope he understands the importance of quality. You can monitor the progress of production to ensure the goods are according to your buyer's quality standards.

Our supplier from Korea, but your idea is really good cos it's our prestige and we will get the profit if products from them are good.

Thanks curdrive, however 2/3 of 1st order is good, beside 1/3 of amount of money of 1st order we haven't pay yet, cos we said it's for mantainning business relationship by the way we usually order every month. If we stop doing business, then we will pay for the rest. So that's why we intend to order...

Replying to [Vananh]: Order to another supplier, if first supplier don't pay you the claim for bad product or replace it with the damage ones on there cost..
As supplier have responsibilty for bad quality products and they have to bear all this surcharges and claims..
If not go to another supplier..
