So I see a way to make some money and I run with it. Since I own an Iphone I figured I would look at the product description to see where it is made. China...hmmmmm So I contact Putian Huayutrade Co., Ltd. Original description we 100% real Iphone and now it has been changed. Imagine that...lol So I am an *. However, I will not give up that easy. Anyone with knowledge of a good company or companys of factory or refurbished electronic prodcuts please contact me. I will pay an agent for due diligence but I will not get scammed again lol If someone can point me to a legitimate supplier I will pay $$$$. I need cell phone, game systmes, laptop, mp3, and car stereo. I will consider any hot selling items for my website. Please let me know...I am tired and it is rediculous to be scammed on a site like this with "GOLD MEMBER" status written on all of these companys.
As per my other reply to your other post you cannot buy brand name products in China. If you try then you will be disappointed in any number of ways.
Firstly, the scam, which it seems you have already met. Money down the drain and some scammer in China enjoying spending your hard earned cash which you just sent to him.
Secondly, even if you do get some product such as refurbished items, you have no practical guarantee or warranty on those products. Sure the supplier will claim that they offer a 12 month warranty of whatever but look at the small print here. You will need to send the items back to China and back to the states at YOUR COST for repairs. They will be out of your hands for at least two weeks. And what happens if you receive them back again and find that the problem is not fixed or another problem occurs the next week. Are you really going to spend all that money sending the item back again? Do you think that your customer will accept not having the item that they purchased for weeks on end?
Thirdly, as a seller you are legally responsible for the product that you sell in your market. So if something is faulty and causes an injury of damage then you are legally responsible. You live in the US which is the most litiguous society in the world. Is it really worth making a few thousand bucks selling these items if you get yourself sued for millions a little bit down the track? Sure it is unlikely but think about the consequences if it does happen.
Fourthly, the product you import and sell needs to meet certain requirements of your government as far as meeting safety regulations. Are you confident that your items will meet these criteria? If you sell them without the relevant testing done then you could find yourself in a world of trouble legally.
Finally, with every shipment you make you run the risk of losing your money. Scam sellers, careful customs agents plus a host of other incidents could result in all of the money you invest in a given order being confiscated.
Do yourself a favor and be smart about this. If you have money to invest in importing product then don't try to go what seems to be the easy route. Find yourself a genuine product that you can buy and sell legitimately from legitimate suppliers, make legitimate money, and earn your money legitimately. It will be far less stressful and far more rewarding.
