Due to the failure to receive any response from Red Silver for status updates and shipping details requests for the fully paid order and after submitting numerous requests; we must unfortunately begin immediate payment dispute resolution with all servicing parties. We feel it is imperative that Alibaba.com make immediate investigation to determine the status of Red Silver's operations as it is ignoble and misleading to list a company, especially with TRUSTPASS status, as a prospective supplier that has engaged in stealing funds from customers. Replying to [Safe Trading Admin]: It is so easy to get caught up with working for the promised contract, but everyone must check who they are dealing with before wasting time and energy. Sadly Alibaba is as easy to use for theives and scammers as it is for genuine business people. Having been scammed, very convincingly, all I can say is everyone must be very aware, and double check by using every possible tool that they can, google, yahoo etc, to make sure that no-one else has had problems dealing with your potential new customer or supplier.

While I agree with your sentiments ,regarding do every possible check on potential trading partners etc ,I have another take on this scamming problem.

That is , Why are the likes of Alibaba (and other B2Bs) continually force feeding traders in to thinking that trust pass /gold member status = safe trading? Because clearly it isnt inherently safe . A look around these forums at the complaints regarding gold pass members says it all.And the negative comments on this are gaining momentum all the while.

Basically its coming across that its a meaningless reassurance from Alibaba and other B2B platforms regarding so called safe trading .That little gold badge is simply a "purchased " advertising space membership.Nothing more nothing less.

Just what is checked ,during all these regular "visits " and other contacts that are made with applicants for gold member status? Because going by what I see on these forums ,precious little appears to be checked /confirmed.

If someone complains to the platform owners about being ripped off /scammed by a gold member ,the stock reply they receive appears to be based around " we dont get involved in transactions between parties .What the * does that mean ? They took the $8k or so gold fee and then promptly state that the member has been verified and IS safe to trade with.

Therefore they surely have a legal responsibility to ensure that the gold member IS safe to trade with?As by accepting $ payment ,they are to all intents and purposes , a partner of the gold member.So are equally responsible for shortcomings in the members dealings.

There is no language ambiguity or semantic change of meaning in their safe to trade with statement .

Common sense says that ongoing due diligence is the way to go for safety in trade.But I for one expect a lot more from the advertising platforms ,who take payment for the varying levels of membership.To ensure that it IS safe to trade with their "verified" members.

In the perspective of Advertising and promotion, Abb is just a media to do so.
could not be as an Insurance company. the fee/members charge that been quoted is for those service = promoting ! not as the insurance premium and
not to pay compensation for any "incident/accident" in B2B transaction.
Nor as a Bank to cover the L/C ! who can guaranty a gold member even a multinational can not go down at any time ? New York Wall street ever got Black Friday ! collapsed so tragic ! simply ABB is not the share holder or owner of the all Gold members.
But under ethic morally, at least Abb would do prevention, due diligence, warning etc.. and this bulletin is one of the aim/intention.
To be more sympathic, the list of scam, fraud etc should be listed in secial page in Abb's Web. if necessary put it in a navigation tool bar at front page Abb with clear text " Black List Company" .so the Alibaba' Visitor vwill easyly been noticed !
