I have heard so many nonsense-stories from scammers so of course I tend to take anything like this with a great deal of suspicion. A professional con artists will tell you anything to get on your good side. I've heard a lot of very strange and long-winded justifications for why they do what they do. The conflict he talks about is very real, but if he's telling the truth or just trying to elicit sympathy from someone who is probably Christian for some nefarious purposes, there's no way of knowing. I know most of these scammers are simply criminals like anywhere else, they use the money to buy jewelry, nice cars and houses, luxury items etc...

But if these scammers really are funding violence in Indonesia, that makes the scamming a much more serious issue.

Scam remains Scam, under whatever coat always !

If one should tolerate this, it is a backward step into the Middle Ages where the Crusaders something similar made!

info copied from Wikipedia.org http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crusade
The Crusades were a series of military campaigns of a religious character waged by Christians from 1095-1291, usually sanctioned by the Pope[1] in the name of Christendom,[2] with the goal of recapturing Jerusalem and the sacred "Holy Land" from Muslim

Hi, Trad

If you mean this bad guy the sender of the email, I believe he is trying to making a fool to you.

Sulawesi and Ambon is the name of two different islands. Approx. 1– 2 hours by flight to nearest city. No Ambon in Sulawesi or No Sulawesi in Ambon.

Absolutely CROOK SCAMMERS,

If you report him to police include with what he wrote, will get two accusations, frauds and instigate.

In short, you've just been scammed.
This scammer used that email as a trick in the hope that you would not chase him and give it up. I really doubt that he has ever visited either Sulawesi or Ambon in the first place.
By the way, I read in local newspaper today that Indonesian police has received around 270 cases of cyber crime (through Interpol and perhaps via email to their website) but more than 95% of the cannot be processed because Indonesia does not have the so called Cyber Law and without its existence, the case can only be prosecuted further (according to applicable criminal law in Indonesia) if the victim comes and report the case to Indonesian police IN PERSON and that certainly means that you have to fly to Indonesia and report this scammer to local police

Thank you for your time everyone. I sent email to him about scamming. I told him to stop scamming ,shutting down his website and stop making money from innocent people. I don't understand why there is many bad suppliers(scammers) in this Alibaba.com.
I have read many buyers have scammed by bad suppliers in the formus. I just got out of the military and start my own business. Well, I might thought that civilian life is easy, but it is not. I have learned expensive lesson from this scammer.
