My name is John Borg from Manchester England, at this time I seem to spend more time in China than UK due to my new position within a London company as the import Manager and partner.

We are looking for new products for our brand name range and now with suppliers found from Alibaba we have now made sample orders and become sole importer in the UK for our products, so this is great new start to the New Year 2008.

My background in production started many years ago, working for a large dairy in UK as a production manager, with clients like Tesco, Asda after 5 years I moved to BT as a Cable engineer for 2 years, later worked for P&G and then for Tesco as their area maintenance Manager, I later imported into the UK from China and exported to many counties around the world.

I have spent some time in China working with a vehicle factory for 12ths and helping buyers with their sourcing and quality checking needs.

Some time ago I started a web site called stop scammers to help buyer’s combat scammers and give them basic advice before they send money, with any new buyer the need to read more about the good and bad points when importing is paramount, either from the Alibaba forums or any other legal sources they might find.

I am now the moderator on the verify a supplier forum so would hope to meet many people there in the future. I will try to help people in the best way I can and as my wife is Chinese she is always at hand to help too.
