Replying to [SHALO]:Hello, I'm a travel agent in Shanghai, and we provide service for lots of people who come to china like you.
The best season to go to hongkong, in my opinion is during October and November, it's still warm there and the travel expense will not be very high because it's not the high season.
if you want to know the details of traveling in China, please contact jin_qin@scyts.com

When you reached Hong Kong, you can take the train to Hong Kong Station, and there change another train, or take the free coach provided by the hotel.

The ticket only cost HKD100 per trip each person. Hong Kong is a small place, most of the places are accessible by the Subway, called MTR, get a map from the hotel and look around for the MTR station nearest to the hotel.

From Hong Kong, you can take train to Guangzhou, Canton or any other city in China. Alternatively there are domestic flights, you may want to take to beat the maddening crowd, with sea of people at the immigration check point.

Looking at the ticket price is great but you need to be aware of the weather as well. For example, HongKong seems to be alot more humid and hot then what most people in America and Europe are use to. I would check the weather before you buy the ticket.
