I've posted many offers for luxury items for sale over the years, and each time I ask those who responded, are they end buyers, they always say no. They all represent buyers, and are just shopping around for quotes. What is the best way to ensure they are real BUYERS?

Replying to [GATI2006]: I bet you that is a tough nut to crack as many of the real buyers hide under their representatives mainly to protect themselves and their companies. I'd suggest you get involved with the representatives for now and as your business grows you'll get to meet the real buyers.

Hi fishy, thanks for responding. Unfortunately, I only deal with representatives, and it does not get me far. I need a solution, that a representative can make to me that will get me to have the representative step aside, when I need to talk to the buyer directly.

To find a real buyer:
1.Participate in trade fairs of country you are looking for you business.
2.Personal market survey with the help of consultants will always do your work..
3.I dont think it'll be a bad decision if you could find a good agent to take care of all yours worries related to buyers or prospect customer.
4.You cannot have your presence without agents if yours product are consumer durables as all are sourced via through agents.
5.Look for tenders and RFQ of that country if you are on larger production side for direct supply.
Above all your personl involvement will be required to do so with sincere effort...

Try to find the wholesalers of your product and sell to them. Another way for direct selling to the end user is accomplished by an online store. You can build a small network of your resellers using some affiliate program like comission junction.
You know, sometimes it's not the best of ideas to talk directly to the end consumer, as they might not be familiar with your product and require more time to be spent on them than say a buying group.
